2D animation is another way in which I try to bring to life whatever moves in my or others’ imagination. I love this medium because it gives me the opportunity to not only create the character itself, but the rhythm as well, the movements that make everything believable, lifelike.
It starts from imagination but it has to feel real in front of your eyes – from the movements to the environment where it actually moves. All elements within a 2D animation need to be coordinated. The different elements of different heights and widths need to work as a whole, to co-exist and make each other perfectly work and…move.
For most of my 2D animations I work in Adobe After Effects program, but I also play around…well, move around in Procreate and Mental Canvas.
